Another Great Weekend

By now Wayne is back doing trim carpentry and Herm is back to his hospice work. I am back in sunny Sarasota at my construction job. It seems dreamlike, but two days ago we were traveling musicians pouring our hearts out in song to our friends new and old.It was a beautiful weather weekend, we even had frost up in Dream Valley Ranch!

A big THANK YOU goes out to the folks at Mennonite Disaster Service who hosted us at Boulder Mennonite Church on Friday evening. We have so much in common with there mission and were grateful to be able to share our stories with them. We look forward to working with them in the future.

It was our second year playing for the folks at First Denver Mennonite on Saturday evening. Many return patrons with hearts open to the music. Special guest star Hope Weaver was also a big hit with one commenter saying we need to "keep the girl singer!"

Our monthly (or sometimes biweekly) get togethers are a real source of energy and healing for us. We return to our daily lives tired, but at the same time exhilarated and ready for the next one to arrive sooner than later.

See you in Kansas!!
